Found this, it shows just how big RCC 2 was. Sam (BAZINGA) 18:38, August 29, 2013 (UTC)

Classification of 'Mohawk' weapon[]

In spite of what RCC's statsboard says, I'm convinced that the 'Mohawk' weapon should be considered entirely separate to conventional spiked axes. I'm saying this as the overall leverage was closer to a front-hinged flipper than an axe, while the curved arm and six spiked heads are both unique to this particular overhead weapon design. Those details suggest the 'Mohawk' as being more suitable for the 'Unique weapons' table, but what do other others think? VulcansHowl 13:21, 17 April 2023 (UTC)

To me it's an axe in the same way Piranha is an axe. Inventing a "mohawk" definition for it just because it's got extra spikes down the handles doesn't really change that definition. I feel like we should be moving closer to the definition of spiked axes/bladed axes/hammers sharing a page, not moving further away from it. TOAST 22:22, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
Piranha's arm was, incidentally, the very reason why I started this discussion. Its serrated arm is already classified as a 'Unique weapon' even though it shares many characteristics with a spiked axe/hammer. I should add that 'Mohawk' was the term used by Team RCC themselves during their robot introduction, while Mischa de Graaf refers to it as a 'striking-weapon' in his write-ups on PullverizeR's Dutch Series 1 campaign. The one thing that does support RCC's overhead weapon being referred to as an 'axe' is its statsboard, which makes things especially complicated in this case.
Given how many axe-wielding robots had both spiked and bladed heads from time to time (some of which were interchangeable), I would support the idea of creating a merged 'Axes' page providing that we maintain the established distinctions between both head types. 'Hammers' I would keep separate as it is, since the reboot had it own definition ('Hammer Bot') for robots with these weapons. VulcansHowl 12:07, 18 April 2023 (UTC)
Certainly happy for Piranha and RCC to move into that singular Axes page, we can just used coloured rows to specify whether or not an axe was bladed or spiked, as with other merged weapon pages. TOAST 11:38, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
