Team Shock Article Edit

Hiya, seeing as both Will & Ian Thomas have fought in 2016 with Shockwave and failed to qualify with both Maelstrom and Manta. Should the team have their own article written yet? They are well known within the roboteering community outside Robot Wars and compete with a lot of featherweights. Liam Bryant (talk) 09:34, August 2, 2016 (UTC)

I don't see a problem, sure. I have feeling we're going to have quite a few team pages in the coming weeks.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 08:41, August 2, 2016 (UTC)

If someone would like to start the page, I don't have a problem helping to fill it in. (Willshockwave (talk) 11:52, August 2, 2016 (UTC))

I'd definitely like to see one of these articles happen, Team Shock absolutely hit the notability criteria, and it would give us a definitive place to talk featherweights, Maelstrom etc. Thanks for the offer, Will. Naturally though, I have bigger priorities on the wiki right now, it'd be great if someone else started it. ToastUltimatum 12:51, August 2, 2016 (UTC)

Written it here> anyone let me know what they think? Liam Bryant (talk) 15:31, August 2, 2016 (UTC)

Whiteboard matchEdit

Can I ask what that is and why it's there? Jimlaad43(talk) 06:56, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

A whiteboard match is when the teams of robots write down (on a whiteboard) the bots name and then fight. In America, it is known as a "grudge match". The reason why its there is because Eruption - Infernal Contraption and Behemoth - Gabriel were shown on the TV, implying that the DVD might contain more whiteboard matches. --WolfwingandSlaveLeia (talk) 07:38, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

I hate to say it but the DVD is simply the episodes. I have no whiteboard matches. 321Annihilate (talk) 08:13, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

How strange. Everyone was hoping for at least one or two whiteboard matches, or the pilot (if could deal with copyright thing), but I guess they don't count because they're not "real" matches or something. --WolfwingandSlaveLeia (talk) 08:47, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

That is probably the case. 321Annihilate (talk) 11:30, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

Rename Edit

Now that we're transitioning from 2016 Series to Series 8, this title doesn't quite fit in anymore. Although we COULD rename this to Shockwave (Series 8), let's be honest, this robot was far more significant than the police Shockwave ever was. Without me realising, we even had a precedent in the past - we have Rhino (Extreme 1) and Rhino. Let's just rename this article to Shockwave, and then we can fix the Series 8/9 links and the Shockwave links all at once. TOAST 05:43, February 12, 2017 (UTC)

Agreed. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 05:44, February 12, 2017 (UTC)
