Why does this have its own page? Toon Ganondorf (t c) 11:15, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
- I wondered that too when I was editing the main Robot Wars template. Christophee (talk) 11:40, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
- If there is a page listing every use/victim of the Drop Zone, shouldn't there be a page for every use/victim of the Floor Flipper (the Pit of Oblivion being covered by the Hazard immobilisation and Self-inflicted immobilisation pages)?--Voyanuitoa (talk) 11:46, August 13, 2016 (UTC)
I created the page. The reason why I decided to put this page together is because, unlike the floor flipper or the pit, I felt there was enough information to warrant its own article. As well as listing the robots that had items dropped on them, this page lists the items that were dropped, and bits of trivia such as the fact that the black and yellow X was first seen in Extreme 1, and how Golem was used as a Drop Zone item. If getting Thrown Out of the Arena has an article, why can't the Drop Zone have one? Both have enough information to warrant a page. Drop Zone mk2 (talk) 14:00, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
- Because it's more than just "fell in the pit" or "were flipped", I think the page can stay. With different objects being dropped, the lists are both worthy, and are a bit too long to shove on another page. Jimlaad43(talk) 14:05, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
- I'm okay with it staying, but perhaps it should be renamed to "List of instances of the drop zone" and then linked to the arena page. I'm working on a judges' decision page at the moment I hope to make similar. It also needs to be removed from the template, which is why I brought it up. It seems to stand on equal footing on the template as the actual Arena, which is baffling. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 14:18, August 14, 2016 (UTC)
