Zeus and Rawbot Edit

Shouldn't we at least give these two and the fight they were due to have a proper mention, not only on this page, but also on their own respective pages? We've done it for other examples like this before. CrashBash (talk) 22:00, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

I'd definitely give a little subsection for the fight underneath the Dutch qualifier. I think the battle is mentioned on the robots' pages, though I haven't checked at the time of writing. ToastUltimatum 22:11, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
Personally I don't think there is any need for it to have its own subsection. What more can be said about it than the brief mention at the top of the Qualifiers section? Christophee (talk) 22:13, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
As I said, there have been other examples where this sort of thing has happened and it has been mentioned. That's why I thought it should be noted. Also, I do not believe the robots' tables have been updated to mention this yet. CrashBash (talk) 22:15, June 3, 2013 (UTC)
I agree that it should be in both robots' results tables at least. Christophee (talk) 22:21, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

Qualifiers as a separate article Edit

I think the sections about the World Championship qualifier battles should be removed from this page and placed in a separate article called "World Championship Qualifiers". Whilst we're on the subject, I think robots that lost in the qualifiers should be removed from the "World Championship Competitor" sections.

There are a number of reasons for this;

  1. The qualifier battles were part of separate episodes, and Craig Charles introduces them as being for the World Championship "at the end of the series".
  2. The qualifier battles were held as special events, so they should be part of the Special Events section of the Series 7 navbox.
  3. The German Melee is not part of the Second World Championship article, and the Mayhem qualifiers are on a separate article to the two Extreme 1 Annihilators.
  4. Likewise, robots that lost in the German Melee are not listed in the "World Championship Competitors" category, and robots that lost in the Mayhem qualifiers are not listed as "Major Event Competitors", and Behemoth and Stinger are not listed as "Competitors in multiple annihilators".

I'd be willing to write that article, and move all the stuff (when I have time). Drop Zone mk2 (talk) 19:27, June 24, 2018 (UTC)

I’m on board. It’s like the Mayhems and Annihilators. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 03:11, June 25, 2018 (UTC)
I absolutely agree, this is one of those things that has always struck me when I visit this article, without ever realising that it can actually be changed. TOAST 08:24, June 25, 2018 (UTC)
It's one of those things you accept until someone points out it's silly. Yeah, supported. Jimlaad43(talk) 10:09, June 25, 2018 (UTC)
