First AxlebotEdit

Isn't Wheelosaurus an axlebot? If so then thats the first Axlebot. Llamaman201 (talk) 12:30, January 31, 2010 (UTC)

Quote:"It avoided being classed as an axlebot as it had two castor wheels on the front weapon"--SquirrelMonkey (talk) 15:00, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
I'd say that's a bit iffy. Helloher (Death is not my phone number) 15:06, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
Weeliwako has two castor wheels and I don't see how they can stop it being an axlebot. Llamaman201 (talk) 17:39, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
I agree that it is an axlebot. It was even swinging and spinning a bit in its round 1 fight of Series 4. ManUCrazy 18:07, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
No, SM is correct. Weeliwako was designed to "thwack", whilst Wheelosaurus wasn't. I've made this clear before - Wheelosaurus was not an axlebot. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 21:01, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, but you're wrong, Toon Ganondorf. Aside from the points everyone else has made, it has been described as an axlebot by the Robot Wars Magazine. Besides, it clearly looked to me like Wheelosaurus was designed to "thwack". CBFan (talk) 23:17, January 31, 2010 (UTC)
The Robot Wars Magazine has been known to make a lot of mistakes. Wheelosaurus drives around and rams/cuts foes. Designating it as an axlebot is therefore incorrect. I have never seen Wheelosaurus "thwack", and if it did, it could easily have been an accident or as a result of a flip. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 01:08, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
Then you obviously haven't seen its Series 2 performance. Plus, I'm 90% sure the term "axlebot" originated from the Robot Wars Magazine. More to the point, the current vote is 4-2 that it is an axlebot. CBFan (talk) 07:48, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not voting - I was merely questioning the quote's reliability. I'm not for either side. Helloher (Death is not my phone number) 17:04, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Let's do this insteadEdit

I'm sorry everyone, the confusion was my fault. I made a mistake when I classified "axelbot" as a weapon, it is a body type, not a weapon. This category is only meant for robots who use the spinning or the swinging as their primary means of attack, which is why Wheelosaurus does not belong here. Instead of "Axlebot," the subcategory should simply be "overhead". If we make a page about Axlebots, we can put Wheelosaurus there. Sound good? RA2; aka Resetti's Replicas. (My Talk) 17:27, February 1, 2010 (UTC)

Sounds fair enough...but we have our answer now....Wheelosaurus IS the first axlebot. CBFan (talk) 17:39, February 1, 2010 (UTC)
