Team LOGICOM are a Florida-based team who competed in both seasons of Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors and Nickelodeon Robot Wars. Captained by Brian Nave, the team competed with their flagship shell spinner design, The Revolutionist, alongside a secondary team led by Thomas Beaver who competed with Spin Doctor. Both halves of the teams and their robots would also compete together in the Nickelodeon Tag Team Terror.

Since Robot Wars, Team LOGICOM have remained one of the most consistently active teams in the sport, entering most televised competitions around the world with years of live circuit pedigree.

While competing with The Revolutionist, Team LOGICOM represented Ormond Beach in Florida, while Spin Doctor represented Lake Helen, roughly a 35 minute drive away from Ormond Beach. The two teams would compete as a combined unit on the live circuit and in competitions such as Robotica, but for Robot Wars, the direct members of the Nave family would compete with The Revolutionist while the Beaver family would primarily compete with Spin Doctor (with only the young Matthew Beaver overlapping into The Revolutionist's team).

Team LOGICOM's greatest achievement on Robot Wars was their second-place finish in the first season of Extreme Warriors, with their leading achievement outside of the show being their incumbent title as the champions of the Robot Fighting League with various versions of Shrederator. They are also one of just five teams to compete in every reboot season of BattleBots with the same robot, Captain Shrederator.

The team are named after LOGICOM Logic Systems, Brian Nave's company prior to his retirement after 2016.

Brian Nave[]

Brian Nave Phrizbee

Brian Nave with Phrizbee

Brian Nave was the captain of Team LOGICOM and the lead builder, engineer and fabricator of The Revolutionist and Spin Doctor, alongside all of the team's other machines on the live circuit and other television shows. Brian Nave would therefore be the captain and driver of The Revolutionist for both of its seasons in Extreme Warriors. An outwardly patriotic character, Brian Nave brought strong 'Americanisms' to the show, including a highly patriotic costume based on Uncle Sam and the American flag, plus a catchphrase granted to him by presenter Mick Foley where various interviews would result in him starting sentences with "Let me tell you something, brother!"

Brian Nave's somewhat exaggerated character also allowed him to establish running grudges on the show, such as his desire for vengeance against "the tank" (Panzer Mk4) throughout US Season 2. Brian Nave has been the most consistently active member of Team LOGICOM throughout its competitive history which now spans over 20 years, although at the time of competing on Robot Wars, Team LOGICOM were still relatively inexperienced in robot combat having started competing in the year 2000 (one year prior to the filming of Extreme Warriors).

Michael Nave[]

Michael Nave

Michael Nave at Extreme Warriors

For US Season 1 and 2, Brian Nave was joined by his brother Michael, his most consistent teammate in Robot Wars. Michael Nave would wear the same patriotic costume and joined in with plenty of dialogue, also assisting with maintenance and repairs. According to the Team LOGICOM website, Michael Nave was the team's "Procurement Officer" responsible for sourcing components, and was described as a "cellulose specialist"[1].

Michael Nave remained a consistent part of Team LOGICOM for many years, competing all the way up until Captain Shrederator's appearance in the 2018 season of BattleBots, although he was not listed as a team member for subsequent seasons.

Rebecca Nave[]

Phrizbee Ultimate

Rebecca Nave with Phrizbee-Ultimate

Rebecca Nave was the third member of Team LOGICOM in Season 1, and Brian Nave's wife (mother to Nicholas Nave). Although she was present throughout Season 1 in a moral support role (according to the Team LOGICOM website[2]), she was largely unseen in televised interviews, with the team's dynamic focusing on the two costumed Nave roboteers. Rebecca Nave also attended various BattleBots competitions as part of Team LOGICOM.

Kenneth Bryant[]

Ken Bryant Phrizbee

Kenneth Bryant, more commonly known as Ken Bryant, was the third team member for The Revolutionist in US Season 2, filling in Rebecca Nave's slot. Although this was his only competition appearance on Robot Wars, Ken Bryant played a large role on the team, being Team LOGICOM's dedicated welder and "weapons specialist". Like Brian Nave, he also contributed to the fabrication of the robots.

Ken Bryant returned as a member of Team LOGICOM for the ABC BattleBots reboot, competing in various seasons of BattleBots including the 2015, 2016 and 2020 competitions. However, he has not been billed as a team member since World Championship V in 2020.

Nicholas Nave[]

Nicholas Nave

Nicholas Nave with The Revolutionist

Nicholas Nave, more commonly Nick Nave, is the son of Brian and Rebecca Nave who at the time of Nickelodeon Robot Wars was seven years old. With Nickelodeon Robot Wars focusing on child roboteers, Nicholas Nave was enlisted to be the young driver of The Revolutionist in its battles, also being the lead speaker in various interviews despite father Brian Nave retaining the captain role. In the future, Nick Nave would co-captain Team LOGICOM alongside his father for competitions such as King of Bots II and the 2019 season of BattleBots, also becoming the driver of the team's heavyweight machines in 2019 and the outright captain of Team LOGICOM in Brian Nave's absence for the 2018 season of BattleBots.

Thomas Beaver[]

Tom Beaver

Thomas Beaver at Extreme Warriors

Thomas Beaver was the captain for Spin Doctor in the second season of Extreme Warriors, also being listed as the team captain in the Nickelodeon series despite only being on-screen for some of its fights (alternating with Adam Baxter). He was based in Lake Helen, Florida. Thomas Beaver was an appropriate fit for the captaincy of Spin Doctor for he was the chief medical examiner for Daytona Beach, Florida. He and his team all dressed in medical attire to match this theme in their appearances, wile mainly being addressed as "Dr. Tom" by his teammate. By his own words, Thomas Beaver was 'not an engineer', but the Team LOGICOM website describes him as the team's "urethane specialist", this being an experimental material used in Spin Doctor's weaponry and construction[3]. He will also have assisted with maintenance on-site but largely deferred this role to his on-screen teammate Adam Baxter and off-screen captain Brian Nave.

Thomas Beaver's son Matthew, who was less than ten years of age, also joined Brian and Nicholas Nave as part of The Revolutionist's team in the Nickelodeon series.

Adam Baxter[]

"This is our robot Spin Doctor, and he's wanted in three states for malpractice because of this disc right here, and what we're gonna do is cut 'em open to see what color their insides are!"

Adam Baxter Spin Doctor

Adam Baxter was consistent teammate of Thomas Beaver while competing with Spin Doctor, and was the driver of the robot in Season 2. Like Thomas Beaver, he would also dress in medical attire on-screen, which the Team LOGICOM website called "Doctor Adumb", but was simply called "Dr. Adam" on television. Although he was not the robot's captain, Adam Baxter was the lead builder of Spin Doctor alongside Brian Nave, also later being the sole designer and builder for the BattleBots Season 5.0 competitor Code:BLACK. After the team's interviews in the second season were initially led by Thomas Beaver, Adam Baxter seemed to overtake the role and become the lead speaker in a majority of instances. He was consistently present in Season 2, and was occasionally visible on-screen in Nickelodeon Robot Wars, alternating with team captain Thomas Beaver.

Adam and Tina

Adam Baxter and Tina

Also in the Nickelodeon series, Adam Baxter would also bring an uncredited team member named Tina with him as part of the Spin Doctor team, despite her never being listed on a statistics board. According to the Team LOGICOM website, her stage name would have been "Nurse Nurse", matching her outfit.

Ann Beaver[]

Ann Beaver Team

Ann Beaver in an interview for Nickelodeon Robot Wars

For the Nickelodeon series, Thomas Beaver's 14-year old daughter Ann was brought onto the team to drive Spin Doctor and lead the team's interviews. Although Thomas Beaver was still listed as the team captain on the statistics board, Ann Beaver was the primary focus of the team for this series, despite being absent from the statistics board herself. She too would dress as a nurse in what proved to be a female-led team on-screen, with Ann and Tina fronting the team whilst Adam Baxter led the maintenance of the machine.

Other[]

Team LOGICOM credits one additional team member over the 2000-2002 period, namely Dewey Thompson, the team's technical advisor and one of their mechanical engineers. He was not present on any of the televised Robot Wars teams but was noted as an active team member during the years Extreme Warriors was being filmed.

In the modern day, Team LOGICOM is consistently led by Brian and Nick Nave while still being joined by Ken Bryant on occasion. Their most consistent teammates who were not active in the early 2000's are Brian Hauch and Jonathan La Plain. For one BattleBots fight in 2018, Joe Johnson also temporarily captained Team LOGICOM and drove Captain Shrederator in battle whilst Brian and Nick Nave were both absent.

2000-2003[]

Dispose-All

Dispose-All at Season 3.0 of BattleBots

Team LOGICOM's first robot was a middleweight robot named Dispose-All which competed in Season 3.0 of BattleBots. Originally intended to be armed with a spinner (inspiring the garbage disposal-themed name), these plans were eventually scrapped in order to make Phrizbee a more powerful spinner instead. Instead, Dispose-All fought without a weapon and lost its only fight against Uplifting Experience. Nevertheless, Team LOGICOM had already completed their first heavyweight robot for the same season.

The team's first robot was Phrizbee, starting the team's signature theme of shell spinners. Phrizbee competed in Season 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 of BattleBots, also adopting its alternative identity as The Revolutionist for Robot Wars. In Season 3.0, Phrizbee lost to KillerB in its opening battle, but it won five battles over the course of the following two seasons. Its peak performance was in Season 4.0, reaching the Round of 32 by route of defeating Billy-Bot and Deathstar before encountering HexaDecimator. Here, Phrizbee took a commanding lead before being flipped over with less than a minute until the end of the match, eliminating Phrizbee just shy of the Top 16. Curiously, Phrizbee still had to pass through the qualifying rounds in Season 5.0 unlike most returning Round of 32 finishers, allowing it to easily pass through Bermuda Triangle, Knightiknight and Mr. Bonestripper before falling to Center Punch in the Round of 64. Notably, Brian Nave would then drive Center Punch in its following fight against the defending champion BioHazard, only losing a split judges' decision on a 23-22 margin.

Team LOGICOM also entered a super-heavyweight version of Phrizbee into Season 5.0 of BattleBots called Phrizbee-Ultimate, which earned four straight wins against G.O.R.T., Hog Wild, Super Nova and the defending champion Toro before finally losing to IceBerg in the Round of 16, concluding a successful one-off campaign. Phrizbee-Ultimate then competed at a number of live events between 2002-2004, including Lazy Toad Robot Conflict(October 2002), Robocide: Showdown in O-Town (January 2003), Steel Conflict 3 (May 2003), the 2003 Triangle Series Nationals (September 2003) and the NPC Charity Open 2004. Phrizbee-Ultimate would later be rebranded as Shrederator Supreme.

The team's original super-heavyweight plan was a robot named Pincer, a hydraulic horizontal crusher intended to weigh 340lbs, with the ability to independently rotate its wheels up to 180 degrees for more angles of movement. However, changing rules on hydraulic weaponry at various events led to the robot becoming overweight and Pincer did not make a competitive appearance at any events.

Mad Dog BB

Mad Dog in 2004

Also for Season 3.0 of BattleBots, the team built a middleweight robot named Can Opener, armed with a small undercutting bar spinner. It won its first fight against Spin Cycle by a landslide 44-1 judges' decision, but was defeated in the second round by Cheap Shot. The design of Can Opener was upgraded for Season 4.0 where the robot became known as Chopper. It won its first fight against Problem Child by knockout despite also breaking down shortly afterwards, but Chopper then lost its following fight to Space Monkey on a 25-20 judges' decision. Chopper found much greater success in Season 5.0, defeating Hoarf, A-10 Thunderbolt and Slap 'Em Sillier before finally being knocked out by Wee Willy Wedgy. Chopper also performed respectably at BattleBots Rochester R3, with wins over Royd Rage and Funnel Cloud (by default] and losses to Green Wave and Chaos Toaster. Chopper was succeeded in the middleweight class by Mad Dog, a more heavily armoured robot which retained the undercutting bar weaponry. Between 2003 and 2005, Mad Dog competed at seven different events with reasonable success, including the NPC Charity Open 2004.

Alongside Chopper's appearance in Season 5.0, Adam Baxter scaled the design down to the lightweight category and competed with Code:BLACK, continuing the medical theme of Spin Doctor. Code:BLACK was extremely successful at Season 3.0, making it all the way to the semi-finals after seven straight victories against Little Punch, Tiki Fire, NT-4, Rugger, two-time champion Ziggo, Whirligig and Herr Gepoünden. Once Code:BLACK was finally defeated by Wedge of Doom in the semi-finals, Code:BLACK achieved a joint third-place finish. Code:BLACK would continue to compete in other events between 2004 and 2005, including the NPC Charity Open 2004 and ROBOT REBELLION 5.3, before later being upgraded to become Code:BLACKER, a design similar in nature to its middleweight counterpart Mad Dog. The other known lightweight robot from Team LOGICOM is Tweedle Drum, a drum spinner intended to compete at BattleBots, but it is known if the robot was ever completed.

Bambulance

Spin Doctor as Bambulance on the live circuit

After its appearances on Robot Wars, Spin Doctor was converted to use a scoop instead of the disc and was renamed Bambulance. It entered a number of events as Bambulance, including the NC Robot StreetFight (July 2003), Robot Assault 2003 (August 2003), Rocket City Robot Assault (May 2004), the BattleBots NPC Charity Open 2004 (withdrew from combat), Robotic Revolution - New Orleans (August 2005), STEM Tech Olympiad 2014 (May 2005) and most recently, Battles at Maker Faire Orlando 2018 (November 2018). Bambulance changed hands to new owner Jason Rogers in May 2021, intended for restoration to compete at Orlando Robot Ruckus later that year.

Mechacidal Maniac

The Mechacidal Maniac at Robotica

Team LOGICOM competed in Robotica with The Mechacidal Maniac, a robot using eight motors to move in any direction, albeit without any weaponry, instead being designed purely to handle the obstacle course format of Robotica. It qualified over Shannonagains by five points in the Preliminary Stages but then lost to Ill-Tempered Mutt in the Fight to the Finish after being immobilized by the drum spinner of the resulting finalist.

PBSS

PBSS, antweight competitor

Team LOGICOM also started competing in the antweight class in 2002 with PBSS, a wedge with high top speeds which debuted at Southern Assault in September of that year. Since then, it attended Robot Assault 2003 (August 2003) and the 2003 Triangle Series Nationals (September 2003).

2003-2015[]

Shrederator 2003

Shrederator in 2004

2003 marked the year that the design of televised competitors Phrizbee and The Revolutionist was advanced to become Shrederator, the brand and core design that Team LOGICOM have been using ever since. Shrederator enjoyed a long and successful career over the hiatus of televised combat robotics, winning over 100 fights on the live circuit according to team member Nick Nave[4]. Between 2003 and 2006, Shrederator is known to have competed in at least ten heavyweight events, with an overall positive record, for example placing second to Megabyte in the 2003 Robot Fighting League national competition. At the 2005 Rochester Robot Rampage event - sanctioned by BattleBots - it temporarily reverted to its previous identity as Phrizbee, although the Shrederator logo was still present on the machine. Shrederator continued to make appearances through the following decade, such as STEM Tech Olympiad 2014 in May 2014, and Battles at Maker Faire Orlando 2018 in November 2018. The robot's crowning achievement on the live circuit was its victory in the final year of the Robot Fighting League circuit, giving Shrederator the incumbent title of RFL champion to this day.

ShredHead

ShredHead, featherweight competitor

A featherweight version of Shrederator named ShredHead was also built in 2004, debuting in May 2004 at Rocket City Robot Assault ahead of its appearance at the NPC Charity Open 2004. After this, ShredHead competed at War-Bots Xtreme Premier in November 2004, and Robotic Revolution - New Orleans in July 2005.

Team LOGICOM also built a series of beetleweights around the year 2006, including:

  • UpBeat - Armed with an egg beater spinner, with appearances at Daytona Area Robot Tournament (November 2006) and Battles at Maker Faire Orlando 2018 (November 2018)
  • UpperCut - Armed with a vertical spinning disc, with appearances at Daytona Area Robot Tournament (November 2006) and Battles at Maker Faire Orlando 2018 (November 2018)
  • Wacker - Armed with a low-profile horizontal bar spinner, with no recorded competition appearances.

2015-Present[]

BattleBots[]

In 2015, Team LOGICOM returned to the rebooted BattleBots with a new heavyweight full-body spinner, Captain Shrederator. It sported a paint-job very similar to that of The Revolutionist. In the competition, it lost its first round fight against Stinger: The Killer Bee, which was able to deflect Captain Shrederator multiple times with its wedge before overturning it. Captain Shrederator was not chosen to be a wildcard and so it was eliminated in the first round.

In the 2016 series of BattleBots, Captain Shrederator returned, initially as a reserve, but competed after another robot withdrew. In the first round, it faced Death Roll from Australia. Captain Shrederator won the battle via KO in destructive fashion, but was awarded a surprisingly low seeding (No. 20) in the resulting bracket, putting it against Chomp in Round 2. In the end, an axe attack from Chomp went straight through Captain Shrederator's spinning body and immobilised it, eliminating Captain Shrederator in the second round.

Captain Shrederator was again rebuilt for the 2018 series of BattleBots, aired on the Science Channel and Discovery Channel. As Brian Nave was competing in China at the same time, the robot was controlled by his son Nick Nave, while the robot used more rounded sides and heavier block teeth in its default shell, which was interchangeable with its traditional shell sporting many thin teeth. In its first battle of the season, it fought New Zealand representative End Game using its new shell, but was shepherded into the corner and immobilised, after End Game's vertical spinner flipped Captain Shrederator over. After extensive repairs and a switch to its classic shell, Captain Shrederator took an early lead over SubZero, ripping away its back panel and causing major damage, before suddenly losing mobility near the arena wall for a second loss by knockout. While Nick Nave was temporarily absent and Joe Johnson filled in as a substitute driver, Captain Shrederator suffered its third consecutive loss after Petunia punctured a battery and set Captain Shrederator on fire. This proved to be its final battle in the main competition, ending its campaign with an 0-3 record. However, outside of the main competition, Captain Shrederator represented America in the USA vs The World special with Brian Nave once again the driver. It collected its only win of the season against the UK representative Vanquish, ripping away its front left wheel and knocking the machine out - Team USA went on to win the special.

Captain Shrederator returned for the 2019 season of BattleBots, where it was originally supposed to face Cobalt in a rematch of Shrederator Tiger Claw's loss to Tungsten in This is Fighting Robots (see below). However, the draw was altered so that Captain Shrederator would instead face Wan Hoo, which it battered with repeated hits, before Captain Shrederator suddenly broke down and lost the battle. It was repaired ahead of its battle with Witch Doctor, but was overturned by the vertical spinner and collected a second loss. With a negative combat record, Captain Shrederator was left with no choice but to enter the Desperado tournament, where it faced Black Dragon, but after delivering a huge blow to the eventual Desperado champion, Captain Shrederator was knocked out and eliminated from the bracket in the first round. With one final loss against Blacksmith, Captain Shrederator ended its Fight Night campaign with a disastrous 0-4 record.

Captain Shrederator once again returned to BattleBots for its 2020 season, reverting to familiar brushed technology from the peak of its success. Despite a promising start, Captain Shrederator continued its losing streak with a loss to Lock-Jaw after losing the use of its spinner and getting stuck on the jammed arena screws. It performed better in its next fight against Axe Backwards where, after a relatively even clash, Captain Shrederator was able to score a knockout win after ripping off one of Axe Backwards' wheels. Its final Fight Night battle against Shatter! saw Captain Shrederator start strongly, until its spinner was disabled halfway through the fight and Captain Shrederator lost a judges' decision after Shatter! hammered through its top armour, finishing with a record of 1-2, which was not enough for Captain Shrederator to earn a place in the Round of 32. Outside the main competition, Captain Shrederator competed in the spin-off series BattleBots: Bounty Hunters, where it challenged for the right to face BattleBots legend Bronco. It scored a destructive win over Sharko in its first fight in order to face former quarter-finalist ROTATOR in the next round, with Captain Shrederator starting strong before losing the use of its spinner again, and losing on the resulting Judges' decision.

Captain Shrederator would again return for the 2021 season of BattleBots with Brian Nave at the helm once more. The robot's top armour was reinforced with white UMHW plastic panels for additional protection against overhead weapons. The season started perfectly for Captain Shrederator with a knockout win over former champion Tombstone, though this was soon equalised by a quick loss to fellow shell spinner Gigabyte. With an untelevised win over Jäger, Captain Shrederator finished its Fight Night campaign with a positive record for the first time at 2-1 and it qualified for the main competition as the 27th seed. It did not progress any further, losing its only main competition battle in a rematch to ROTATOR after getting both of the spinner's teeth ripped off. Captain Shrederator also fought an exhibition battle against HUGE - losing by knockout - and in the spin-off BattleBots: Champions, where it was eliminated in the first round on a Judges' decision against Ghost Raptor.

In 2022, Captain Shrederator would return once more for BattleBots World Championship VII, initially facing Team Robo Challenge and their returning crusher Quantum in the Fight Night stage. However, as before, it would endure a difficult start to this part of the season, becoming immobilized after separate biting attacks from Quantum disabled its weapon and drive systems. Captain Shrederator bounced back in its second fight and defeated HiJinx by knockout, despite losing the use of its shell spinner for much of the fight. However, it would endure a brutal and highly controversial loss against Riptide, after the latter kept attacking Captain Shrederator even after flipping and effectively immobilizing it. The damage inflicted - estimated to cost around $10,000 - was enough to write off the 2022 build, forcing Team LOGICOM to rebuild Captain Shrederator from scratch the day before its fourth match against JackPot.[5][6] Having come close to forfeiting the match,[7] Captain Shrederator was reassembled in time, surviving to a judges' decision despite sustaining more damage and encountering severe control issues throughout. On this occasion, JackPot emerged as the unanimous winner, ending Captain Shrederator's season early with a 1-3 Fight Night record.

Captain Shrederator, similarly to the previous year, also competed in the spin-off BattleBots: Champions II, fighting tracked vertical spinner Emulsifier in the first round of its Sin City Slugfest bracket. The match proved challenging for both robots, as Emulsifier became immobilized on one side following its initial onslaught, and Captain Shrederator lost power to its shell spinner while trying to inflict multiple blows on Bots FC's entry. Even with Emulsifier's impaired mobility, Captain Shrederator still unanimously lost the subsequent judges' decision and was eliminated at that stage.

During World Championship VII filming, Captain Shrederator also fought an exhibition match against rival horizontal spinner Malice, included in the YouTube-exclusive compilation Vengeance in Vegas 2. Using a shell with two blade-like extensions - designed to counter horizontal weapons - it again suffered major functionality issues throughout after getting deflected into the screws early on. While Captain Shrederator still survived the full three minutes, it would ultimately lose the subsequent judges' decision to Malice.[8]

This is Fighting Robots/King of Bots[]

Shrederator China

Shrederator Tiger Claw at This is Fighting Robots

Team LOGICOM had previously entered the Chinese show This is Fighting Robots (follow-up to King of Bots) in 2018, using the name Shrederator Tiger Claw. This version was identical to the version of Captain Shrederator seen in the 2018 season of BattleBots, but was painted black, like the previous versions of Shrederator. It competed in the first Freestyle Combat round of the main competition, defeating Green Agate, Eater and Fango to win the battle. In its next head-to-head battle, Shrederator Tiger Claw caused significant damage to Stealth, immobilising it for the victory. Shrederator Tiger Claw then represented its team in a three-way rumble, under the controls of its celebrity captain Sa Beining. However, the celebrity driver displayed little control over Shrederator Tiger Claw, and drove it into the walls of the arena while also sustaining attacks from Xiake and Greedy Snake. It ultimately lost the battle to Greedy Snake on a Judges' decision. Shrederator Tiger Claw also lost its next battle after being flipped over by Tánshè, but advanced to the Top 8 of the competition regardless. There, Shrederator Tiger Claw delivered powerful blows to Vulcan, and despite repeatedly being thrown into the arena walls, Vulcan suddenly lost mobility and Shrederator Tiger Claw earned the victory. Shrederator Tiger Claw had reached the top four and was finally eliminated in the semi-finals after a long battle with the eventual champion Tungsten - the magnets inside Shrederator Tiger Claw could not be disabled after sustaining damage, rooting it to the ground and preventing its ability to drive. Shrederator Tiger Claw also lost the third place play-off to Xiake on a controversial Judges' decision, resigning Team LOGICOM to fourth place.

Shrederator KOB2

Shrederator Tiger Claw at King of Bots II

Shrederator Tiger Claw returned for King of Bots II, which was first tested in a whiteboard battle against Huntsman, although it lost its early lead and was immobilized around one minute in, which the team claim was the fault of their experimental shell used in the fight. The team also defeated Xiake in an untelevised Warm-Up Battle before the season began, before eventually joining the main competition over halfway through the series, as a member of Huang Jian Xiang's team. When it finally fought, Shrederator Tiger Claw broke down in its head-to-head against Saber. It nevertheless progressed through to the final attrition round where it was drawn to fight Spectre, only to lose control and eventually its full mobility before the battle even began. Unable to return to its starting position, Shrederator Tiger Claw was eliminated by default, although its full five-robot team ultimately won the entire competition when Vulcan defeated Drift in the final battle. Somewhat questionably, this made Shrederator Tiger Claw a joint winner of the entire series.

Honours[]

Trivia[]

  • Team LOGICOM are the only Grand Finalists in Extreme Warriors to reach the finals less than 50% of the time, and are the only runners-up in all series of Robot Wars to bear this statistic.
  • Throughout Season 2, Brian Nave ran a narrative of wanting to have a rematch with 'the tank', Panzer Mk4. Although this did not come true, the other half of Team LOGICOM fought Panzer Mk4 in the second round with Spin Doctor.
