Team Reptirron was a team of roboteers that originated in Series 4 of Robot Wars with the team's namesake Reptirron before fighting in Series 6 and 7 with a new machine, Reptirron The Second, whilst also competing in the second series of Extreme with the featherweight Argh!.
The Team[]

Team Reptirron in Series 4
Team Reptirron was captained by full-time engineer Gordon Townley, who competed in all of the team's appearances. He was joined by various members of his family such as brother Stuart Townley in Series 4, and Cheryl Townley in Series 6, who was only ever seen in the control booth and not the pits. Peter Seabourne would also assist the team in Series 6 off-screen and visibly joined the Argh! team in Extreme 2, with the uncredited young team member Thomas having a vocal role in Extreme 2 and Series 7.
The team's original machine was called Reptirron, a bronze armoured robot with a circular saw on an arm, before being succeeded by Reptirron The Second, also a bronze (but later clear) armoured robot with a large high-pressure flipper and a smaller circular saw.

Team Reptirron did not perform too well with their heavyweight machine, with Reptirron only ever winning one out of four battles (that one win was actually a melee, where another robot also qualified).
The team did have significantly more success with their featherweight machine called Argh!, which won the Featherweight Championship in the second series of Extreme. Not only this, but the team would repeat their success with featherweights outside of the TV show, winning the 2005 UK featherweight championship with a new robot, Stiff Breeze.
The team also go by the name Kinforesters.

Outside Robot Wars[]
After Robot Wars entered its hiatus, the team fought with Reptirron the Second and Argh! during the live events in 2004. Argh! was retired due to there not being many arenas safe enough for spinners, while Reptirron the Second was showing signs of fatigue and was also retired.

Stiff Breeze, Team Reptirron's second featherweight
In 2004, the team built a second featherweight, a six-wheel drive pusher called Stiff Breeze, which won the FRA 2005 UK Featherweight Championship, three years after Team Reptirron had earned the title with Argh! on Robot Wars. It briefly came out of retirement to compete at the FRA Featherweight Championship 2016 with some success, defeating Minimoth but failed to reach the knockout stages after being flipped out of the arena by Legion.

Hortron, a heavyweight formerly entered at live events
In 2008, they purchased Tilly's Revenge from Team Tilly which they redesigned to have a front-hinged flipper, renaming the robot to Hortron. They also fought with it in the 2008 UK Championships reaching the quarter-finals where they lost to Iron-Awe 5 and also the 2009 UK Championships. Eventually it was retired after an encounter with Terrorhurtz.
