Techno-Lease was a box shaped machine that competed in two international events at the end of Series 3. It had a circular saw (described as a grinding blade) as its weaponry, but was unable to overhaul Razer, Behemoth or even Prometheus in any of its only three battles.
In contrast to Techno-Lease, Erik de Vrijer's robot Slicer achieved tremendous success, winning the first Dutch Robot Wars, and ultimately going undefeated in televised competition.
Robot History
Series 3
Techno-Lease represented Holland in the First World Championships held after Series 3. It didn't last long in its Round 1 fight with Behemoth, who flipped it over. It wasn't able to right itself and was therefore eliminated.
It also competed in the International League Championship. It drew its first battle against American robot Prometheus, after both robots lasted until the end. However in its battle with World Champion Razer, Techno-Lease was always second best, with the British robot pucturing its shiny shell in several places. This left Techno-Lease in a crumpled mess.
