Terrorhurtz is a British heavyweight robot that competed in Series 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 of Robot Wars, and withdrawing from the seventh, achieving a highlight of fourth overall in Series 6. Terrorhurtz was armed with a deadly axe that caused incredible amounts of damage. Terrorhurtz appears as a competitor robot in the Game Boy Advance game Robot Wars: Advanced Destruction, its second and final appearance in Robot Wars video games, having previously appeared in Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction.
Appearance and ArmamentEdit
Terrorhurtz is easily recognisable as its real life compatriot because of its large axe and translucent shell; however the replica is far from perfect. The robot is more pointed at the front and flatter at the back than it should be.
Terrorhurtz's weapon is the incredibly powerful axe, that fires at over 100mph, with a force enough to overcome some of the best robots in Robot Wars. In the game, the axe works as a double axe, like in real life, but will only rest in one position, thus making the second blade useless unless a robot happens to be underneath it whilst resetting. The axe is not quite as fast as the one on Mortis, but is equally as powerful.
Terrorhurtz is an unlockable robot within the game, and is unlocked by beating it in Championship mode.
Terrorhurtz is nothing special as a pusher, so the axe is the primary method of attack. The axe only fires one way, so it is important to face the opponent before attacking.
Flippers will find Terrorhurtz an easy target, so it is a good idea to repeatedly flip Terrorhurtz, or push it around the arena and into hazards.
Differences between the Game and Real LifeEdit
- The axe only fires one way, and is slightly the wrong shape.
- The body is too flat at the back and too pointed at the front.
- The decals are missing from the side.
