This is something I've wanted to try for a while on this Wiki that I hope you guys will like too. What I've done is taken all of the robots I have created in Robot Arena 2 (will make a blog describing each of them), put them through, pretending they will be in the Series 8-9 arena and then having this tournament to see who you guys think would win each fight. Standard tournament rules apply although anyone can vote.

Format Edit

As we have 40 robots competing, they will be drawn into 5 heats which will be a standard knockout tournament like Series 5 or 3 with 8 robots in each heat. After each of the 5 finalists are decided, a wildcard from the remaining robots will be selected based off of:

  • 1) How well the robot did in general
  • 2) How controversial/close was the fight they lost?
  • 3) Does the robot have Grand Final potential?

Judges Edit

The judging panel is open to any user, however it is preferred if:

  • User is already a regular voter in official Arena tournaments (ie. 300+ main-space edits)

Heat A Edit

Round 1

  • Flip-Flam vs Hammerquist
Flip-Flam Hammerquist
Flip Flam
Votes for Flip-Flam Votes for Hammerquist
  1. The problem that has been noted in battles done using Flip-Flam in-game is that while it has a potent flipper, when self-righting it can get the flipper stuck open. This is alleviated by the "bunny-hop" system at the back, but with a powerful axe (not to mention the invertiblity), Hammerquist should have this easy. Votes for Shadow Knight Votes for Riakage
  1. Shadow Knight is quite a small but powerful flipper that will lose comfortably to the better flipper. CaliforniaKingsnake (talk) 15:42, April 28, 2017 (UTC)
  • AinoScript vs Caspase
AinoScript Caspase
Votes for AinoScript Votes for Caspase
  1. While AinoScript has two weapons which both protect it, one missed axe or flip will open up a gap for Caspase's weapon to exploit. CaliforniaKingsnake (talk) 15:42, April 28, 2017 (UTC)
  • Havel the Rock vs PaintPalm

Votes for Havel the Rock Votes for PaintPalm
  1. It's Firestorm knock-off vs Mortis knock-off! But in all seriousness Havel the Rock has a powerful flipper, and the better ground clearance. What it lacks however is the driving skill necessary to get those into effect perfectly, whereas PaintPalm has better speed and maneuverability to get behind Havel to flip and axe.
