Robot Wars Wiki

"...the concept was to slide under and topple people, what good are wheels when they don't touch the floor?"
— Team Danby website[1]

Vindicare was a robot built by Team Terrafonics, later known as Team Danby, to enter Series 4 of Robot Wars. Ultimately it did not qualify for the series.

"our first true heavyweight, invertable {sic} and driven by 2x wheel chair motors, it had a pneumatic lifting fork set up..."
— Team Danby website[2]

Vindicare was a two-wheel driven invertible robot, using two forklift prongs for weaponry, powered pneumatically. Its weaponry only had limited travel, but could hoist other heavyweights comfortably. Its side armour curved outwards, protecting the robot's innards at the cost of ground clearance.
