- ""We're big fans of the show," says Amandeep Gabria. Both he and Paul Keen are Foundation Engineering students who built the robot under the watchful eye of tutor Lloyd Davies. "We'll have another go if we don't qualify. Fingers crossed!""
- — Wipeout Cycler's mention in Robot Wars: The Official Magazine, Issue 1[1]
Wipeout Cycler was a competitor robot which attempted to enter Series 6 of Robot Wars. Built and entered by two Foundation Engineering students, it failed to qualify for the latter series for currently-unknown reasons. In the event that they did not qualify, the team stated in Robot Wars: The Official Magazine that they had also intended to apply for Series 7; however, it is currently unknown whether they attempted to enter the latter.
Design[]
Not much is known about Wipeout Cycler's design, although a photograph from an issue of Robot Wars: The Official Magazine suggests that it was a blue and black robot with a possibly invertible chassis. Its weapon was a front-mounted horizontal spinning disc.
